Full Time Spanish Interpreter
United Community Health Center is looking for a Spanish Medical Interpreter
Successful candidate must have solid experience & advanced knowledge of: Fluency in verbal, reading and written bilingual communication skills in Spanish & English, computer and data entry, Knowledge of medical terminology in Spanish and in English, previous experience interpreting preferred. Is responsible for facilitating effective communication between the interdisciplinary health care team and patient/family; thus ensuring that they are provided appropriate health care and treatment. Works directly with medical staff to ensure accurate communication and understanding between patient and staff, assists patients in completing all necessary intake forms at initial visit, including but not limited to, demographic and medical history, and financial verification. High school diploma or GED, Background Check & Drug Screen required.
